Should you eat 5 meals a day?

Most people eat 3 meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Did you know that it is better to eat 5 meals a day? We tell you why. Have you ever heard this saying? “Eat breakfast like a king, eat like a prince and have dinner like a pauper” Well, if you haven’t heard or read it before, let me explain the importance of this saying and allow me to add some information: Meal #1 To start, breakfast: The most important meal of the day is the energy you are going to give your body to start the day, imagine if you skip it or decide to give your body something light. How will it perform adequately? A good balanced breakfast is often the key to starting the day on the right foot. Meal #2 It comes right after breakfast, it’s lunch: This is more like a small snack to keep the body energized. Without giving you a high sugar crash that exhausts you. A fruit or some nuts, seeds or peanuts, all in moderation, can be a good lunch. Remember not to leave your stomach empty for more than 4 hours. Food #3 The food: Just, as the saying goes, “eat like a prince.” That is, the time at which you have to give another strong meal to the body, a little before the middle of the day, however, it does not need to be so copious, since we begin to slow down a little to reach the afternoon. Meal #4 Then we continue a little later in the afternoon, the snack: Another light meal with few carbohydrates, or with another fruit, perhaps a salad, or a small snack that keeps you with something in your stomach. Meal #5 Finally, the last meal, however, no less important, dinner: This is a meal that although it should not be abundant, compared to breakfast or dinner. Food, however, is a light food so that we sleep adequately without accumulating fat during sleep. *NOTE: If you want to lead a better quality of life, try to add a little daily exercise and sleep orderly and adequately to your 5 daily meals.
