Chocolate snack that is healthy?  This sweet little gift for yourself offers you the delicious flavor of chocolate and is great to share with your family. Cocoa has many benefits for you. It is a food that has many nutrients if consumed in its natural state, unprocessed.

Ingredients

  • 240 g (8 1/2 oz / 1 cup) cocoa butter
  • 30 g (1 oz / 1/4 cup) sifted raw cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1 teaspoon of maca powder
  • 2 tablespoons rice malt syrup or honey or 1 teaspoon liquid stevia
  • 25 g (1 oz / 1/4 cup) desiccated coconut

Instructions

  • Cover a baking sheet with baking paper.
  • Melt the cocoa butter in a heatproof bowl over a pot of boiling water, stirring constantly.
  • Add cocoa powder, vanilla powder, maca powder, and rice malt syrup or raw honey (or stevia) until combined. Set it aside until it is thick enough.
  • Pour the mixture into a bag and put it on the baking paper, in a wavy pattern, forming fingers about 15 cm (6 inches) long and leaving space between them. (Alternatively, use a skewer to drag the mixture across the paper to create a pattern.)
  • Cover with coconut and place in the refrigerator for approximately 1 hour to harden. It will keep in a container in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks.
