CWP Recipe: Tangerine Jelly with Vegetables

And for today’s dish we have a tangerine jelly with vegetables. You may wonder what is so extraordinary about a dessert that has vegetables? Well, a lot and you will see it below. For today’s recipe you will need the following ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 sachet of light tangerine gelatin
  • 1 cup of grated carrot
  • 1 cup grated and drained cucumber
  • 1 cup grated and drained jicama Now that you see the ingredients, you’re probably starting to like how this idea sounds. Very good, for the preparation you will need to follow these simple steps.

Preparation

  • Start by preparing the mandarin jelly. Place 2 cups of cold water in a container and pour out the gelatin. Wait 5 minutes for it to hydrate. Add 2 cups of very hot water and mix until everything is dissolved.
  • Now you will have to divide the gelatin into three different deep plates. The first, mix it with carrot, the second with cucumber and the third with jicama.
  • Now, place the carrot gelatin in a gelatin mold and refrigerate it until it sets.
  • Once the first layer is set, place the second layer of gelatin with cucumber. Refrigerate it again until set.
  • Finally add the third layer of gelatin with jicama and refrigerate again. And surprise, you have a very healthy dessert and the result is incredible. Each layer has its own texture, its own flavor and above all, very crunchy because of the vegetables you added. Now you have a very fresh salad, because of the vegetables you included.
