CWP Recipe: Breaded cod with cañihua

In the previous post we introduced you to Cañihua and everything it can do for your health. Now we bring you this recipe that includes this seed as the main ingredient: breaded cod with cañihua. To prepare this dish you will need the following ingredients: For the Cañihua ¼ cup of Cañihua ½ cup of water ¼ teaspoon of salt For the Cod 1 teaspoon of olive oil 2 teaspoons of lemon juice 1 tablespoon of chopped cilantro 1 clove of ground garlic Salt and pepper Cod fillets Cooking oil spray Lemons Method of Preparation: Cañihua Boil water together with the Cañihua and salt over low heat. Cover the container where you are boiling the Cañihua and leave it for 15 minutes or until the water is absorbed. When you’re done, let it sit so it can cool down a little. Cod Mix olive oil, garlic, cilantro and lemon juice in a bowl. Add salt and pepper. Add the cod fillets to the mixture and let them rest for about 5 minutes. Turn them so that the mixture is coated on both sides. Rest them for 5 minutes again. Place the Cañihua on a large, flat plate. Now begin to cover the fillets with the Cañihua, pressing both sides to ensure they are well covered. Add cooking oil spray to a frying pan and preheat over medium heat. When your pan is ready, add the fillets and cook each one for 5 minutes each side. Serve it with lemon wedges. You and your family will love this recipe, it is very simple to make.
