Christmas smoothie!
For this reason, I am going to share with you a recipe that I love and screams CHRISTMAS everywhere. Super healthy Christmas smoothie!
Have you never noticed how there are certain flavors or combinations thereof, that remind us of certain things? Like some place or some time of year? For me, combining things like cinnamon and ginger or also nutmeg always tastes like Christmas. I don’t know, maybe it’s because many seasonal recipes include them, but this combination always brings me back to all those parties with my family 🙂 That’s why I’m going to share with you a recipe that I love and screams CHRISTMAS everywhere. Christmas Smoothie!
Ingredients (SERVES 2)
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 cups of coconut milk
- 2 dates
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/3 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice (dioica)
**To serve (OPTIONAL) **
- 1 gingerbread cookie
- 1 tablespoon coconut yogurt
- 2 cinnamon strips
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in the blender and blend until everything is smooth and creamy.
- Serve with a fresh gingerbread cookie, a dollop of coconut yogurt and get ready for Christmas!
