Being positive, a lifestyle

Being positive is not achieved overnight, however, it is easier than many think.

I frequently meet people who seek to make their life full of optimism, or be positive. Positivism is formally a philosophical current whose principle is based on the definition of arguments that seek to define whether a certain concept is true or false. There is, then, a certain ambiguity in the word positivism, due to the attribution that philosophers have given it. However, and in the same way, we can talk about positivism as a state of mind, something that fills our lives with reasons to continue, and that fills our heads with good expectations in our endeavors. In this (somewhat controversial) article I will try to go against what philosophers say and define the word positivism in a different way. Additionally, the main focus will be based on achieving success and taking advantage of said mental state. What is positivism? Positivity is basically related to seeing each activity in a beneficial way, seeing the world with winning eyes. Positivity is closely related to faith and self-confidence. Believing that everything is going to turn out well for us is not a simple thing, nor does it guarantee that it will, however, it fills us with conviction and inner strength to try. Basically, positivism consists of putting aside the negative, isolating all feelings of failure and turning it into success and joy. As previously mentioned, positivism is a state of mind, it is nothing more than a way of seeing things, and therefore, it can be modified and transformed into a habit. How is postivism achieved? Being positive is not achieved overnight, however, it is easier than many think. As Human beings - poorly educated on the subject - allow our lives to develop on autopilot; which does not allow us to make decisions regarding what we want to achieve, and the necessary path to achieve it. But… how to get out of “autopilot” mode? Very simple… analyzing yourself. If you spend a few hours of your day analyzing your thoughts, you will discover that you are actually more negative than you think, so indeed, there is a way to improve and eliminate everything negative, to increase positivity and its effects in your life. Just with phrases like: “I hope everything turns out well”, “I may win”, “I don’t think it went as well as I expected”, etc. people become conditioned under a negativistic mental state, which does not allow them to visualize success within the possibilities. Modifying these thoughts with others such as: “I know I will do very well”, “of course I will win!”, “I must have done better than I expected”… etc. you will fill your mind with positive thoughts (positivism), and therefore, the results of your activities. What are the effects of positivism? In the short term: If you think positively, in the short term you will enjoy greater self-confidence, you will feel more sure of yourself, and your decisions will be made increasingly firmly. People will notice your attitude, and many will be infected, creating synergy. Short-term positivism can help you overcome many everyday obstacles, however, you must persist if you really want to enjoy all its implicit privileges. Long term: The effects of long-term positivism have to do with achieving the proposed objectives and goals, since there is a greater probability that you will achieve what you set out to do, if you think so. as and you visualize it. Being positivist not only means thinking positively, but also acting positively, reacting positively to eventualities and obviously, achieving success from a positive point of view. So… why don’t you try it? Some tips Learn to analyze the details. Get all the facts, ask for all the data, all the key variables. This will help you make the wisest decisions. Learn from your mistakes, but don’t let them beat you. Focus your time and money. When you believe in something, put all your attention and energy into it. Don’t let people distract you. Don’t be afraid to be innovative. Be different, try to be innovative. The world is continually moving, progressing. Don’t stop your world. Have your own ideas about what is successful idea. Don’t follow the crowd. Communicate with people effectively. A person is not an island. Communicate your thoughts and desires sincerely. Encourage third parties to communicate honestly with you. Practice understanding and motivation with people. Act honestly. Take responsibility for what you do. Never cheat or lie. When you make a promise keep it. When you make a mistake, admit it.
