6 myths about diet

Not everything that is said about food is true. There are many myths about diet. I share these tips that will help you eat healthy and lose weight.

Not everything people say about food and diet is true. In fact, there are many myths about diet. I share these tips that will help you in your goal of eating healthy and staying at the right weight. Myth #1: You shouldn’t eat after 8 p.m. Of the diet myths, this is one of the most common, but calories can’t tell time. Your body digests and uses calories the same way morning, noon and night. However, that doesn’t mean you can eat all the ice cream you want. If you feel hungry at night, have a light meal with lean protein and plenty of vegetables. *Myth #2: Pasta makes you fat Pasta does not make you fat. Extra calories make you fat. Pasta in moderation is fine, especially if served with grilled vegetables and a drizzle of olive oil instead of a heavy sauce. Myth #3: Coffee can help you lose weight Coffee can temporarily suppress your appetite, but drinking a couple of cups a day won’t have enough effect to help you lose weight. Too much caffeine can actually cause anxiety and insomnia. And it eventually leads to weight gain. One to three cups a day is the perfect amount, just make sure you don’t add extra calories with sugar, whipped cream, or flavored syrup. *Myth #4: Following a diet is the best way to lose weight In the short term, you lose weight on any plan that causes you to eat fewer calories. But temporary changes do not lead to permanent losses. A diet won’t work if you think you’ll do something different for a while and then stop. Instead of a short-term diet, find a satisfying eating plan that you can live with long-term and make sure you’re consuming the right amount of calories to lose weight. **Myth #5: Diet foods help you diet Low fat and low carb do not always mean low calories. When you’re tempted by a snack labeled “light” or “fat-free,” check the nutrition label. See how many calories are in a serving. *Myth #6: Eating fat makes you fat Although fat-laden products can be full of calories, a small amount of fat can help you feel fuller. You can eat fat, but choose the right type and the right amount. After all, no one likes their salad dry. Don’t listen to everything you hear related to food, many are myths about diet. Better, if you have doubts, consult with a nutritionist or health professional to guide you and help you find the best eating plan for you.
