Why you shouldn't stop eating cookies this holiday season!

Eating cookies and other Christmas snacks is a pleasure. And the truth is, one that we should not miss 🙂 No, we are not going to see a super healthy alternative recipe. Better let’s talk about why it is good to eat a Christmas cookie at this time. Without guilt and even better, understanding our body more. We have to be nice to ourselves. This time is a very festive time and, therefore, one of the most stressful of the entire year. Just think about this. As much as we like to go shopping all year round. At Christmas it is not only more tiring, it is quite a challenge. All the shopping centers are packed, there are double if not triple the number of people. And the pressure to find “the perfect gift” is no small feat. The inns increasingly have the highest bar. The expectations for this and any other seasonal party are many. We put a lot of energy into planning and organizing. And when something goes wrong, don’t say anything. Disappointment can be fatal. In short, Christmas is not easy and demands a lot from us. Therefore, as someone who advocates healthy, eat some cookies without regrets. Diet can be another super stressor that you can relax for a moment. Not that you abandon it, but nothing happens if you eat some cookies. They are still full of sugar and calories, but remember that the less stress, not only will you be better off with your family. You will also be better with your weight control. What many people do not know is that many patients who follow 100% all the instructions of the diet, lose less weight than those who sometimes double it a little. Eye! This just has to do with the stress levels they experience. The hormones that we generate under a lot of stress prevent fat metabolism correctly. So now you know, don’t forget to relax and take a break if you need it 🙂 Happy holidays!
