What we eat and the environment

Improve your diet and help protect the environment.

I’m sure that like me, there are many people who are also concerned about the environment.   ** Yes, many others may say it’s a fashion thing, as if that makes it any less real. To which I would say, “Well, it’s a better fashion, right? I’d rather it be fashionable to take care of the environment than something more superficial.” What we sometimes don’t see is that things as small as the things we buy also influence. It is not just about changing the car for the bike and recycling, which we must not forget, they are also important things, but we can do even more :) We have to think about how are the products we buy made? For example, depending on where you live, if you made the switch and drank water directly from the tap, you could reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 35.5kg per year. Other things like eating dark chocolate instead of chocolate that has milk, changing cow’s milk for soy milk or preferring whole wheat bread to white bread. These are some of the things we can do to help the environment and to be honest, they taste great and even help us eat healthier.** The environmental key here is that the processes of recommended foods are less harmful and less burdensome than those of non-recommended ones. If only one person does it, the difference is not clear. But if more people cooperate, the faster we will notice how the world around us changes.
