Prepare all the snacks for the week in one go
Organize your week with these healthy and delicious snacks.
Thinking about what we can eat between meals usually leads us to buy some chips and a soda, maybe a pastry or something else from the machine that is very unlikely to be something nutritious. If you feel like eating better but don’t have much time to prepare snacks, you only need to take one night and there are many things that can be ready for the rest of the week.
Here we have a few ideas for you 🙂
- Oatmeal with fruit in a vase: One of the things that have come back into fashion lately are the so-called Mason Jars. And the truth is that they are great 😀 One thing you can do is oatmeal smoothies with fruits. You just need your favorite oatmeal, milk and fruit. You can make a lot of oatmeal and distribute it in these little vases and put a little different fruit in each one, put it in the fridge and that’s it! You have oats for many days.
- A GREAT breakfast: If you have a favorite breakfast that you can keep in the refrigerator, we recommend that one night before you make not only the portion for the next day, make much more and distribute it in 3 or 4 tupperware (which will now be your best friends and most precious possessions :P) and now you will no longer have to worry about preparing it every day.
- Snacks in bags: There are many things that only need to be stored and that’s it. For example, you can put some already cut fruit in plastic bags, such as grapes, strawberries, apples, etc. Also a mixture of peanuts, almonds and walnuts, vegetables like carrots and jicama, even cut cheese and ham. It doesn’t require you to cook and rather just put them in bags in the fridge so you can just go out and take them with you. Basically, you need to give yourself a moment to prepare this in one night. As they are very easy things, you really won’t need much time and by combining several of the things that appear here, you will be able to have varied snacks.
Now, this doesn’t just depend on the weather, here are other details we need to take care of:
- Take care to make a super healthy meal – this way it will be easier for the options you have to prepare to be truly healthy.
- We have to pay attention to where we are going to eat – There may be a microwave oven, there may not be, there may be a cafeteria, maybe there is not. Things like this have to be taken into account to see what type of food you are going to take.
- Lunch boxes – It doesn’t have to be one that your children would take to school, but there are many options that are not ugly and help keep your food intact.
- On the plate – remember that it is advisable to bring dishes that have: vegetables, protein, healthy fats and complex carbohydrates.
