Maybe you want to lose weight, but because you’re in the office all day, you can’t go to the nutritionist or the gym. So, here I leave you 7 tips to lose weight at home.
1.- Eat a balanced breakfast
If you really want to lose weight, skipping breakfast is not going to help you. If you skip breakfast, this increases your chances of overeating later in the day. Start your day off right by eating a balanced meal that includes protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats.
**2.-Do not skip meals **
If skipping breakfast is a bad idea, skipping any other meal is too. Common reasons people skip meals are due to lack of time or a desire to speed up weight loss. If you are really short on time, eating small snacks/meals throughout the day would be better than nothing. In addition to compensatory eating later in the day, skipping meals can slow your metabolism. Eat a balanced breakfast, lunch, and dinner with snacks in between (if you’re hungry).
**3.-Drink water before each meal and throughout the day **
Drinking a little water before each meal and throughout the day can make a difference. Not only does it increase your metabolism, but it also helps you fill up much faster than you would otherwise.
4.-Eat some fruit before each meal
Eating some fruit or vegetables before each meal is another of those tricks that can help you feel full much faster. Vegetables are lower in calories and contain less sugar, so it would be a good idea to put more emphasis on them.
5.-Do a quick HIIT exercise
The best thing about HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts is that they don’t take long. HIIT workouts are short, but challenging, that can create a lot of fat-burning hormonal changes Which allow you to reduce training time in half. *
6.-Move
In addition to exercising, moving throughout the day should be an important part of your physical activity plan. Just because you exercise doesn’t mean you have to sit down for the rest of the day. Going for walks, playing with your children, standing instead of sitting, and doing household chores can help you burn extra calories outside of exercise. You can burn hundreds of extra calories each day simply by moving more throughout the day. Imagine how quickly you can reach your weight loss goals if you combine exercise with increased movement.
** 7.-Meditate **
We all need a way to deal with the day-to-day stress that life throws at us. Stress eating is a very common thing that many of my weight loss clients do on a regular basis. Meditation is a good alternative to stress eating.
8.-Get some sleep
Lack of sleep can be the difference between losing weight or keeping it off. Not sleeping 7 to 9 hours a night can affect your weight in several ways, including increased appetite. Try to sleep at least 7 hours a night. If you want more information on nutrition and health topics, or need advice to find the healthiest eating plan to help you lose weight, **click here.
