Essential oils, which ones and how to use them?
Don't depend on medications! Learn how to use these essential oils.
One of the ideas that is weighing on us the most lately is the dependence that we have generated on medicines for years to treat even the slightest sign of physical discomfort. We have seen millions of documentaries about how medicines are not good for us. But we all know the truth. Medicines do help, but if we take one for every headache or stomach ache we feel, it is no surprise that they hurt us. It’s not about not taking medicine, it’s about learning to take them. And so, what can we do to alleviate the discomfort other than an excess of pills? There are many options, but one of the best is essential oils. ** Various research shows that certain essential oils have the ability to affect the nervous system. Which means they can lower blood pressure, calm you or give you a boost of energy. Some of the essential oils we recommend are:
- Lavender – this oil is perfect for relaxing, especially recommended before bed. So much so that, in a medical study, it was successfully used to control and reduce the dose of morphine in a group of patients.
- Jasmine – is used to help heal scars and other skin marks, helps with depression. It has also been used as a disinfectant. But one of its most notable uses is to rekindle romance thanks to its aphrodisiac effects.
- Eucalyptus – is a well-known natural decongestant. When used in a dehumidifier, it helps purify the environment and help you breathe better. If you use it in a hot compress, it will help disinfect your nasal tracts and lungs.
- Mint – It has long been known to help stomach problems, in fact, it helps with the symptoms of stomach irritation such as pain, bloating, gas, nausea and even diarrhea. Another way to use it can be to cool off. If you put a little of this oil in another diffuser, you can spread it and feel how it helps lower the temperature.
- Chamomile – Chamomile we generally know helps you sleep better, but this is just one of its other properties. A very interesting one is that it is a very powerful natural anti-inflammatory. It is also used to calm nerves and anxiety. Maybe now you are wondering how to use them, very simple :)
- Inhaling – Using hot water vapor, hot compresses or even a diffuser, this method is very common to treat colds, headaches and release stress. This method usually uses about 10 drops.
- Bath – A bath with essential oils, generally about 8 drops are recommended, they are ideal to help you heal muscle pain, skin, respiratory and sleep problems. If you consider this option, it is very important that you use other oils along with the one you want to use so that it disperses correctly. You can use coconut or sesame oil as diffusers 🙂
- Massages – Many of these oils are absorbable by the skin and this is the richest way to take advantage of them. A good session is a classic remedy for various muscle tensions. With all this information you are ready to find a more natural way to treat certain discomforts. Remember that this does not mean that you stop going to the doctor or taking medication. But definitely less frequently and not every time you feel something that ends up not being so serious.
