Doctor! Get on the video advertising train
Video is taking over internet advertising, stay updated for your patients.
The continuous change of online fashions is rapid and we could easily miss the best ways to make it effective. If you want to provide valuable material to your patients and keep them connected with you, what you need are videos that give you publicity. Statistics say that, by the end of the decade, the main traffic on the internet will be videos. I think we can all see this if we open our Facebook page and see that it is being shared more. YouTube is the second largest search engine in the world, with Google (owner of YouTube) being the first. Tremendous combo. Even 43% of people actually want to see more video content as a form of advertising. Other platforms and research mention that video is the content format with the best return on investment today.
Some ideas to put in your videos.
The most common:
- Testimonial cases
- Product demonstration
- **Instructional videos or how to (how to do it?)
- Explanation videos
- Company work culture (your office)
- Activity videos
- Interviews or news
- Tips (hacks)
- Reviews, criticisms or comments
- Special talks or presentations
- Video Blogs
- Workshops These that follow are more difficult and therefore less common, but very very effective:
- Animation to show how a product works
- Parody of a current event (waters with humor)
- A “behind the scenes”
- Uses new video technology like 360 perspective
- Charity or public service events Thinking about making a video can be difficult, but think about this. Almost all of us already have a very good camera at our fingertips. That of a good smartphone. Ideally, you would pay a professional, but this can be expensive. Even so, you can learn to use a video editor in a basic way, your computer ALREADY has one included. Part of staying up to date for our patients involves these types of efforts, remember that they are already in this and if we want our practice to expand, we need to adapt to the advertising environment in which we live.
