A healthy nutella
If I wasn't going to be able to find a healthy ready-made Nutella alternative why not try making my own?
I’ve been looking for an alternative to Nutella for a while. That is, a healthy nutella! It’s delicious and kind of addictive for me. Since I tried it, I changed the jam, cajeta and almost everything for this creamy and doughy deliciousness. And you know what? I haven’t found anything that can replace it. However, when I read the ingredients, I was scared to death. And well, it was not to be expected less, but for me it was a surprise… It’s TOO MUCH sugar. So I decided to take matters into my own hands. If I wasn’t going to be able to find a ready-made alternative why not try to make my own? After doing many tests and failing, he presented the healthiest recipe that I liked the most to make Nutella at home :) INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups of raw hazelnuts (270 g)
- 1/4 cup raw cocoa powder (20 g)
- 1 cup of oat milk (250 ml)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (160 g) INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC or 355ºF.
- Bake the hazelnuts on a tray for about 10 or 15 minutes. Let them cool a little.
- Add the hazelnuts to the food processor (or a powerful blender) and blend until the hazelnuts are crumbled.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and beat again until a cream is formed with the texture you can see in the photos. And enjoy!
