6 tips in case you've been sitting all day

For all of us who are like this longer than we would like, we leave you 6 tips in case you have already been sitting all day.

The negative effects of spending too much time sitting has been one of the topics we have discussed in past blog posts.  There is not much we can do. Our children sitting at school and us, surely at work. If you’re lucky, you might have a more flexible job or enough time to get the exercise you need. But that is not the reality for most people.  For all of us who are like this longer than we would like, we leave you 6 tips in case you have already been sitting all day. 1.- Schedule a time to exercise and stretch every day. At least 30 minutes will make a difference in your body 2.- Set an alarm to get up from your seat every 30 minutes. This will help circulation and activate your metabolism. 3.- Stand up to talk on the phone and use this moment to walk. It has the same function as in the previous point, you have to take advantage of all the time you have. 4.- Use the stairs instead of the elevator. This can actually count as part of the day’s exercise. 5.- Park further away to walk to your office. All these extra points that make you walk more help you stay on track with the exercise you need. 6.- Change TV time for exercise. If you are going to watch television, a series or movie, at the same time you can do abs, squats, burpees or other easy exercises. Keeping yourself moving doesn’t have to be difficult. Making small efforts to stay active will bring many long-term benefits.
