Because this is how we avoid heart attacks and strokes. This was demonstrated by researchers from Johns Hopkins, after 19 years of research. Throughout the study, participants received adjustments in recommended vitamin D levels and exercise. The results were contrasting. People who met the recommended amount of exercise and had good levels of vitamin D were 23% less likely to suffer adverse cardiovascular events. On the other hand, those who exercised frequently and were deficient in vitamin D saw no improvement. This means that the most important thing is that we reach good levels in both conditions. And we can achieve this if we get into the habit of exercising and sunbathing for 15 minutes regularly. Greetings!
